GILLIAN ZWICK

While earning 2 Bachelor of Art degrees in Fashion Design and Retail Merchandising at Florida State University it was acknowledged by a mentor professor that her tendencies in design projects leaned towards costume. Following this discovery she created private coursework, cherry picked interesting theater department costume classes, and volunteered on MFA Film School thesis shorts films, while simultaneously enrolled in fashion coursework.

Upon graduation she moved with fellow filmmakers to Los Angeles where she learned to work within large film and television Costume Departments. Gillian is a Costumer with Local 705 and Costume Designer with the Guild 892. Her passion for design has been shaped by many years experience and now includes a greater understanding of design, process and execution. Innovation and green practices are the future of this industry, and a core value of her design philosophy.
